A Brief Exploration into the Concept of Time

Preface: I've never written a piece such as this one, I'm not entirely sure what I was aiming at achieving, although it is still a great 'food for thought' piece.

Definitions:

Time: the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole

Linear: progressing from one stage to another in a single series of steps; sequential.

1.0 Hypothesis:

To label time as a calculable measurement is inadequate.
The concept of time is rather a notion of the past, present and future - coinciding simultaneously.
(Providing sufficient evidence to support the existence of alternate and infinite realities/ endless possibilities)

"Subjective time is linear, yet objective time is constantly realigning"

2.0 Apparatus: A SOCIAL PSYCHOANALYSIS

| Inducing humanity unto a temporary, comforting sense of (in)security
|
| Time: Under who's unwritten laws we are forced to abide…
|

| bubble wrap and flashing lights / local bars and poker night
| fishing trips with the boys / hitting the clubs and making noise

| too much work and not enough pay / the big decision on voting day

| ... Avoidable distractions... PROVOKING EVOLUTION'S INTERNAL CONTRACTION

| Entirely unaware (or perhaps unfazed?) that they've been
- - - > propagandised by the illusion that [their] time on Earth is dwindling.

| Preconceived to believe that "Time is diminishing"
| - - - > rather, it is overlapping itself and continually developing/expanding
|

| 3.0 Conclusion
|
| And lest,

Rather the soul's release from a makeshift (now withered) physical shell
(As mankind is a secular being)
And with your final breath, allow your subconsciousness to wander through the cosmos and associated dimensions until the apprehension of another host
- Instead of being led into the trap of mediocrity.

Humankind in a nutshell: Oblivious to interdimensionary happenings.
It can be deduced that such phenomenons are unexplainable by our species intellectual finest (within their chosen fields), as factors such as insubstantial mental capacity and modernisation are our defects, by default.
